Charlotte Edwards is not married and doesn’t have a partner at the time of this writing. Charlotte Edwards, a retired English cricketer, served as the captain of the England women’s team. 

Making her debut in a Test match against New Zealand in July 1996, she amassed over 300 appearances for England in all formats, securing an impressive 10,273 runs.

In recognition of her contributions to cricket, Edwards was honored as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2009 Birthday Honours and later elevated to Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2014 Birthday Honours.

Her outstanding achievements were further acknowledged when she received the ICC Women’s Player of the Year award in 2008 at the ICC Awards held in Dubai.

Charlotte Edwards’ Career

Over her two-decade career, Charlotte Edwards achieved significant milestones, winning four Ashes series and leading England to triumph in both the ICC Cricket World Cup and ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2009. She played her final match in March 2016.

Post-retirement, Edwards took on coaching roles, serving as the head coach for Southern Brave and the assistant coach for Adelaide Strikers. 

In a historic move, she was appointed the first female president of the Professional Cricketers’ Association in 2021, following an election by the Player’s Committee during the AGM on February 25.
